I won! I won! I won many of my French auction items! Since I'm not quite sure exactly what I won, grin, I too am in the dark until it arrives--a tease for all of us. (And what is with this "winning" stuff. I didn't really win it, I DO have to pay for it all! So why do we say win?) I did get a tea set, just not sure which--could be the Napoleon set or the pretty flowered one (hoping it's the pretty flowered one). I got some bits and pieces of sets, and again, not sure which ones. Doesn't matter really. I will enjoy them all tremendously. Merci vraiment Raphael et Regis!
I will keep you posted as I hear more on shipping and receiving! Ohhh my. How exciting!!

You are welcome Rosemary!!
Yea!!! I'm looking forward to seeing what you won!
I'm amazed Rosa...everytime I come here you've posted so many things to think about, wonderful things to look at and wicked things to tempt us with...I love blueberry muffins...and that flower bouquet...are those fabric? They are really pretty, I'd love to more about them.
Mrs. Staggs; They are made out of some kind of thin foam material--you know the kind you can get in square sheets at the craft store. I found the little bouquet in Fair Hope when we were there at spring break and the colors caught my eye! So pretty. The lillies of the valley, though, are real. They came from my garden this year
I'll keep everyone posted when my goodies arrive!
Wow, where are you bidding Rosa? Was it an auction... I would be happy with almost everything in your photos...
I'm looking forward to seeing what you bought. Thank you so much for stopping by - of course you are welcome to link to me!
Hi Rosa....
I know exactly how you felt.
The first time I bought on e-bay, I was yelling to my Dearly Beloved, I’ve won, I’ve won! He wondered what all the commotion was about, particularly as it was only a few bags of craft embellishments. He said, ‘Well you’ve had to pay for them.” Nevertheless, ‘I’d won’, It was such a terrific feeling not, only had I got the embellishments, but ‘I’d won’.
Like you I love auctions, They used to hold them in our village hall, once a month on a Saturday. I’d go down before hand to the viewing and make a list of what I wanted. I would write beside each item how much I was prepared to bid and away we’d go. Great days, unfortunately they no longer hold them.
The car boot sale season has started and that’s where I’m off to this morning. You just never know what little treasure you find.
Love Marion
Ulla: It was a friend in Brittany that was auctioning off some family items. I just happen to talk with him the right day to get in on it! Lucky me!
Mrs. Pao: I love your blog! Thanks for coming over!
Marion: How exciting for the car boot sale season (we call them garage or yard sales--I think). I love those too. You can really find some bargains and gems at those. Let us know if you find any goodies that you would like to show!
