Good Friday

This is a beautiful painting by Ruth Jones. She not only works with paint, but she also does beautiful tapestry work. Her colors are so lovely. I find this painting not to be as depressing as some others I have seen. I know it is a very sad day in history, but we must also remember what is to come. As in life, pain and sorrow can later bring rebirth. We must accept the bad in order to appreciate the good.
