Vintage Tea Swap

It must be Christmas in July! Yes, another box came late yesterday afternoon. This one was from the Vintage Tea Swap that ms*robyn put together. How fun! (Everyone must know how lonely I've been here without the hub . . . sniffle. But, don't tell him! Lord forbid!!)

Leanne over at Roman Holiday was given my name by ms*robyn. Look at what she pulled together for me!

I absolutely love this idea. Take a vintage spoon and fabric and turn it into a pin cushion! How brilliant. I can't wait to do it.

Then there is the beautiful footed tea cup. So elegant. Thank you!! Tucked away in pretty Victorian paper was some green tea infused with pink lemonade. Doesn't that sound just perfect for a hot afternoon? I can't wait to try it. Look at the beautiful linen tea towel too!

Leanne MUST have been reading my blog and finding out about my two boys, because she sent along a copy of Tiffany's Table Manners for Teenagers. I have always seen this book and have always wanted to get it but I never have. Now I know why. I was meant to wait for Leanne to send it to me. How lovely. I already have the kid (pre-teen) reading it. Lord forbid I try and tell the real teenager to take a look at it. (He will never let me live down sending him to etiquette classes and cotillions! ha!) Of course, I will sit in bed tonight and read it too! I have to know all the manners before I expect the kids to know them, right?

Thank you Leanne, a million times over, from the bottom of my heart. How lovely everything is!

And by the way, ms*robyn is putting together the next swap as we speak. So, if you are interested, take a look and send her an email very quickly. This one--Gifts for a Goddess--will be fun!! (As they all are!)

Thank you for dropping by my blog, you are welcome anytime. I have asked MsRobyn if I can join the next swap. I do hope she says yes! x

You had loads of beautiful stuff. Hope I can get in on this tea swap. I don't like tea, but the woodcutter does, but I could have all the rest of the beautiful stuff in the package!!

So glad you liked everything! I was going to put in that piece of chocolate that was listed in the swap, but with the heat lately? I knew it would just melt anyway... I figured you would rather skip it than have a mess to clean up when opening the box! The book is one I've treasured and I am so happy it has a wonderful new home. It's a bit outdated, but fun and sentimental all the same. Enjoy! So glad I drew your name, and I hope to again!
