I'm Such a Ditz

Rembember the other day when I went on and on about how I thought I had missed out on a cookbook "Recipes from Miss Daisy's" from the local restaurant? And so I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon? Well, guess what, of course I had purchased it years ago. I should have known better. Gee, is this the first sign of old age? My memory used to be sharp as a whistle. Obviously, I can't rely on it any like I used to. And now that I have two, I think I may know just what I'm going to do with the extra.

I found this awesome blog the other day and it's all about swaps, Little Parcels Tied Deliciously Up in Ribbons. The latest swaps are a vintage housekeeping swap and a seasonal pampering swap. I signed up for both, so I'm not quite sure which one I will be assigned (which makes it even more exciting). But I think regardless, the reciver will get this little recipe book from me. I can't wait to get my information so I can get started on preparing my box to go out. I think this is such a fun idea!

Ms. Robyn has another site which is also fabulous in case you're interested, daily parcels * tied up in string *. Hers is one of the prettiest sites I have seen. I think you'll enjoy it, too.

Don't feel so bad, Rosa. I have a hard time remembering what I did last week, and I'm only five years older than you! But then again I probably burned a lot more brain cells than you. As the old biblical saying goes, you reap what you sow. I must admit though it sure was fun reaping!
