The Monster, Slain

You didn't think I'd get to it today, did you? Well, to tell you the truth, I didn't either. But I did. Around 4:30, I finally got around to getting out and buying some containers to put the important stuff junk in. I found some cute and colorful hat boxes and a couple of little cases with clasps. I threw away a whole trash bag full of paper and stuff. Why I let it go so long is anybody's guess. But I did it, I slew the monster.

A place for everything and everything in its place. I also found these great brown and red cubbies for what nots--writing stuff is what I put in there. I also found this quilted bag for almost nothing which I have informed the hub of the following: "Your mail will be put in there everyday so you will know exactly where it . It is yours to do with as you wish, just don't put it on my desk!" Ha. We'll see if he ever looks in there and removes it.

I feel so much better. All I need to do now is get to my upstairs desk, where I sit now, and go through everything. It's as bad as my downstairs desk only three times as large!! Lovely. I think I need some advil.

That was a good idea! Now your desk looks very neat and so orderly, he, he ;-)))... Don't worry, we all have our own little messy corners!

Doesn't it feel great when everythings got s place. The inside of my house is terrible stuff everywhere. Even the plumber said to me that tidying up wasn't on my list of priorities. The cheek of the man!! He didn't get much coffee that afternoon..lol..

Are you sure you wouldn't like to come and visit us; Mary thinks we are living in the middle of the Augean stables and the house could do with some world class tidying :O

Wow....looks great. I love the hatbox idea. That way everything looks pretty even if there's a mess inside! Which is how mine would be! Let us know how the bag idea works with your hubby. Mine would probably forget what I said and never look in it!

Pretty hat boxes to use for a good idea.
I remember how good it feels to have everything newly organized...that is, before we ( I ) messed everything up again!

Please come to my house and help me tidy up. I love a clean house but don't have cute places to put all of that stuff.
