Ok, the floor guys finished last Monday. The kitchen guys have done a total of about four hours' of work since then. Basically, all they have done is come in and removed the old canned lighting.
Wow, look at 'em go! If I blink (or fall asleep for a couple of weeks, rather), I may miss something.

remodeling is not for the faint of heart. Onlythe intrepid survive unscathed. Just makes you want to go out and take a class in carpentry and contracting.

Good news, Ro! We had a miscommunication with our contractor (he's from another country) and are meeting him in AZ this week end so we can get started on the kitchen remodel. Hallelujah! Luckily, I won't have to live in the mess tho.
Know exactly what you mean! What do those guys do??? Take a vacation in the middle of the week???
