Ok, Pea has started something. After looking at her Barbie she pulled out from the basement, I think it only fitting that we all take pictures of our Barbies in their finest. I still have my PJ (a real 60s child)-- Barbie was way too mainstream for me.Whatchya say, huh? Fun, no? I'll try to post my fashion show this weekend. Hmmmm, now, where is PJ? (Probably off at a botox party, no doubt. You know those California gals--too much fun in the sun! wink wink)

I have a doll collection, but I never had a Barbie! She came along a few years after I was done playing dolls!
sadly I had many a Barbie, beginning with the bubble hair and b/w striped bathing suit. I had Midge as well as a Ken doll with fuzzy not plastic hair.....when I left home my father cleaned out the garage and ended up giving away all of my Barbies. It still pains me to realize I don't have nary a one left.:( I have to say that I'm not sure who PJ is though?
Hey I'm innocent...hehe Well I had to start SOMETHING didn't I??? lol I know who PJ was but I never owned her...the only barbie I remember having is the one I showed on my post, otherwise I had a couple of dolls I played with. Nowadays there are so many barbie dolls out there!! Can't wait to see your fashion show:-) Hugs xox

Alas, my brothers destroyed all my Barbies. My daughter has a nice collection, but there's no way I'm going to dig through the "cave" to find them for a photograph. Have fun! (My favourite Barbie ever was Solo in the Spotlight - that amazing black dress - so glamourous! xo
Oh I love the fashion show. I never had a barbie or a PJ. I liked the bigger dolls so I could play "mummy" instead. The only toy I think I have from when I was younger was a stuffed bear my sister got me from the 1976 Commonwealth games held in Edmonton Alberta Canada. I think I am going to have to go looking in some of my old boxes and see what I can find.

We had Sindy over in England a sort of english barbie, but very tiny boobs and quite plump when compared to Barbie. I had one of the first Sinday dolls, by no means a glamour puss more like the girl next door. Sindy also had a very large head for her body.
