Sweet Home Alabama

Weeks Bay.

Does it get any better? Oh yes, it does.

Well, maybe just a little. Fairhope window love with a kitty keeping guard.

Love 'em. Want these bad. (boots, that is.) Don't know why. Where on earth would I wear them? I am loving that India theme.

A few pelicans can still be found in town.

Always an abundance of flowers on the streets.

Lunch (hub).

Mine.

Pretty'z. Lookin' up.

The live oaks are mesmerizing.

Chillin' tonight.

Ooooof. Beddie time. Oh yes.

Oh how sweet life is in Alabama!!!! Glad you are having a great time--but I'm glad that store was closed. Otherwise, some friend of mine may have come home with those funky boots!!!! Speaking of boots, we may need them up here the next couple of days. Have you heard what our weather is going to be?????? See what you are missing!!!! ha

Let's hope for no damage here the next couple of days due to the upcoming freeze and SNOW.
Hugs,
Betsy

I want the boots with the orange trimmed tops! You know I'm a shoe/boot freak so why do you torture me with those pictures?

I'm so sorry about your mom. Transistions can be painful but the picture of her in the hospital bed is so cute. She has the greatest smile.

Hope the arthritis gets better. I get it in my big toe. Not a good spot for a shoe lover!

Dear Rosa: I've been following along with you - all your worrying about your Mom - I hope it's all working out as it should.
Thank you again for the tea - The Secret Weapon takes great delight in 'treating' guests (esp. his Grad Students who are enthralled with the wrapping paper! Artists! honestly - the paper is as exciting to them as the tea!)
He brewed a pot for a lovely young student just tonight and I thought about you as we told the story of the tea and its' arrival. I hope all is well at your house (we are still sitting in snowbanks in Saskatchewan!) xoxo the fan
