Oh, if only you could smell the Christmassy fragrance happening here right now.
Yep, the tree arrived, around 7 tonight. Before I could even take any pics of the box's arrival, the hub had whipped it out of the box, cut the trunk and, with the help of the kid and the movie star, had it in its stand in the study. Bella was quite curious, as I had imagined. I think she would already be hanging from the top if I hadn't kicked her out of the room. Aha, now I remember why we put the French doors to this room! To keep the little rodents out!
Speaking of which, Abby likes to take a power walk after dinner every night. Unfortunately, you'd never know it from her shape, poor girl. (I feel your pain, Abby.) When she's finished, she comes and scratches at the window. If I sit really still, she can't see me. Aren't I mean? Fa la la la la.

Hi Rosa.... What a lovely blog you have. Bella is soooo darling... beautiful pictures and decorations.
Enjoy the season and thank you for stopping by my house in the roses... It's a pleasure meeting you....
Have a lovely night

You are a meanie-poor, poor, cat. I love that photo of her looking in. I may get a tree this weekend and I'm sure my cat will try his best to get to the top.

In case I forget to say it later have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Or as you Americans say "Happy Holidays". Never understood that, I thought the US was a Christian country, eh?
Anyhow no decorations for us. We fly off to South Africa for three weeks. Safari and an awful lot of wine growing districts. Dirty job but someone has to do it. So see you in the New Year.
Kind regards

Scatching and sniffing, but only smelling the coffee I spilled on my keyboard!
The tree is beautiful even if I can't experience the full effect!
Best wishes~
Cathy
Oh, she knows you're there. She's just playing along.
Beautiful tree. I can almost smell its earthy fragrance. How I miss real trees!
