Rivershire Downs

Tasha Tudor's Children at the River

It came to me as I lay in bed this morning. What do you think?

All of your suggestions have been magnificent! I have been torn between several. But, I do like the sound of Rivershire Downs as it rolls off the tongue. Decisions, decisions.

Love the choice of names! That print would be perfect for the "river house"

Congrats on the house! I like the name, too. We had a friend with a riverhouse in Texas - just called The Riverhouse - but I loved one of his family's traditions. They had a guest book and you were not allowed to leave without writing your name, date of your visit, and something about your visit. It was such fun for everyone to do as they left. It was also fun to look back at what people had done, who had visited, etc. It was like a family history.

Cheers! LA

I like Tasha Tudor as well but unlike the majority I still like River's Edge the best. It's a smaller name, captures the essence and would fit nicely on a sign.(lol!) I am always the odd duck who says names aloud to see how it sounds...although a lovely name..saying "we're headed to Rivershire Downs" ...well...it doesn't roll that easily. BUT this is just one gals opinion, and really, what do I know anyway?
XOXO
