Mary Engelbreit Workshops

I found Mary Engelbreit's blog last week just in time to sign up for a ME workshop in St. Louis. Registration begins tomorrow and I can't wait to find out more! I have a "save the date" in to our friend Connie who lives in St. Louis. How fun would it be to go to a workshop and meet up with Connie? Pretty darn good!

You can find out more information here on Mary's blog. Can't wait for the clock to strike 12! See you there?

I giggled at the kinda pricey, but -- you can see a friend and have fun! Quilt festival in Houston and this year I'm going to go. I've made that promise to myself!

It's September now! Isn't it amazing? One reason to make a real scrapbook instead of a digital scrap book is that real ones will last longer.

I got an apology email last week about this event since they quit publishing the magazine (they sub'd Martha Stewart Living for my subscription). My ol' stack of Companion magazines is now being outgrown by Somerset publications. In another life I hope to have more time to be creative.
I've always wanted to meet ME since I first found some Christmas cards of hers many, many years ago. So I registered for this workshop, figuring: I could handle the drive to St.Louis... my kid is a senior... I work hard... what the hell... I deserve it. So, if you still intend to go, we should meet up sometime.

Well, I'm afraid such wonderful adventures have to wait for awhile...'til Young Mr. Staggs is finished with school. This year tuition and all takes priority, still. It sure does sound like fun though!

I would LOVE to do this! Silver Bellas is taking up all my fun money so I can't! My brother lives in St. Louis so it would be double fun!
So happy that you get to go with a friend! It'll be such a great experience!

It looks really cool but I don't see me and the price agreeing. Bummer though cuz I Love ME and I miss the magazine! Hows the art studio going?
