Happy St. Patrick's Day!

May you always have
Walls for the winds,
A roof for the rain,
Tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you love near you,
And all your heart might desire!

Happy St. Pat's to you all! It's been a beautiful day here. The rain has finally subsided bringing on more new green on this sunny day. The birds are chirping up a storm--probably asking me to gather all the pieces of the bird feeders that have been blown all over mom's back yard from all the wind we've had in the past month. I' sorry birdies. I promise to, soon.

Mom and I had our lunch with the doors flung open. I'm always happy when I can open her door and get fresh air into her space. It just makes me feel better after a long winter of her all couped up.

I'm still addicted to my pink grapefruits with a pinch of flaky salt added. I've found the Florida ones to be much better than the California or Texas variety. Go figure?

I have to share my new shoes that I bought down at Riverside. My others were wearing blisters as I was out and about and I found these on sale at one of the local shops "The Cat's Meow." It's a delightful store full of funky shoes and such. The lady asked me if I had ever heard of J-41s. Nope, couldn't say that I have. I'm really not much of a shoe person (until I get blisters and have to change mid stride!) Well, they are made by Jeep. Hmmmmm.

I wasn't all that keen on the bronze color, but what the hey. I need a little jazzing up, and the price was WAY right, so I bought them--switched shoes right there and continued my day in town. They are absolutely one of the most comfortable new shoes I have ever had. Wedge and all! (Not a heel person of any type any longer.) I love the flowers in the wedge too.

But the bottoms are soooo cute! Am I wrong here?

Oh, and if the hub asks, I've had these for years! K?

I used to be addicted to pink grapefruit! HAD to have one every day! I don't think I've had one now for over a year. Those shoes are way too cute..I gave up heels a long time ago but might be able to manage these!

You have some pretty feet, my sister, and in the words of Julian Himmelfarb, that's some fancy footwear you're sportin'.

Happy St. Paddy's Day Rosa!
What a nice sunny day you had. It was sunny here too, but pretty cool.
Those shoes look much higher than what I usually wear, but they do look comfortable. Do you remember Wedgie shoes? We wore them all through high school here. I loved those shoes. Wish they still made those.

I've never heard of those shoes but am always on the outlook for comfortable ones. My problem is a very narrow heel which usually translates to expensive shoes.

Shut up!! I just bought a pair and wore them today. People wouldn;t leave me alone for all the gushing. Don't you love them, sister lady?
