Secret Fairy & Stuff
A package from my Secret Fairy arrived late Saturday. Look at how lovely everything was. (I say was only because we have just about eaten all the chocolates!) Miss Sandra over at Stranger on the Earth must have seen all my little sheep because she sent me two to add to my family. They are the softest wool ever. So sweet. They look quite content with the rest of the flock, don't they? I love the card she made with a little fortune. Thank you Sandra!
I got my two big swaps out the door today. I'm so mental sometimes. Ms* Robyn's swap clearly said homemade HEART and somehow I got in my head, homemade FLOWER. I did a horrible job, and I apologize ahead of time to Mrs. Nesbitt. I hope she will forgive me. I don't know where my head was. (I think it's the smoke that's getting to me, giggle.)
I have stuff scattered about everywhere that I need to clean up tonight. Every table top is completely full of junk. What a mess. This is about how my brain feels of late.
In my cleaning up, I almost forgot to show you what I found at the antique mall today. (Shhh, don't tell the hub.) There are dozens of stalls there and you just never know what you may find. First off, as soon as I walked in, I saw these two Santons (the two larger ones in front). Raphi had brought me a bunch from his family in France, and I was so excited when I saw these two, sold as a pair, at a very cheap price! I don't think they knew what they were!! Right next door was this little box of doll house furniture. Look at this sweet ceramic bed and little straw boy and pillow. I put the dime up there so you could see just how small these items are.
Ok, back to work! (Who knows what else I have under these junk heaps!)

How exciting to receive such lovely items from your secret faerie:-) The little sheep she made are just adorable!! Isn't it funny how the chocolates are the first to go?? LOL Hugs xoxo
Your secret fairy pkg.is adorable all the birds the sheep oh how adorable..lucky lady you are!a fellow
fairy.
Great secret fairy goodies!
I like the santons you found in the antique mall also!
Making all our art does tend to mess up a tabletop or two!
Very pretty goodies you have there. I have a bookmark just like it!!
What wonderful treasures you have there, both received (love the birds and sheep) and purchased!! My "Heart" for Robyn's swap goes out tomorrow, I was so late in getting it done. No matter if your's was a flower...it's the sentiment that counts!
XOXO
I love the little straw boy - he is delightful! don't worry about what is handmade and what is not ! last thing we all need is stress :)
You just have so much fun!! Wish I could take a trip with you to the Antique shop. We have a huge one by my home and I will just spend hours there...Love it.
Your treasures are very nice.
Hugs,
Connie
Ah the life of a housewife....you just never know what you will find...the other day in the very back of my husbands closet....I found black dust....not just dust...but black dust...I know not what that means....I cannot believe I'm telling the world this.....
My favorites - the sheep and the bed. Does that have a hidden meaning, d'ya suppose? Other than I don't get enough sleep.
See...that would be me selling stuff for too cheap because I don't know the value...and it is very rare that I get a deal...I would be the one on that Roadshow Antiques' saying it's worth how much???
:-D
I am so glad the package arrived safely and that you like it! I can't take credit for making the little sheep, though--they were made by Emily Goodling at Vermont Fairies (on etsy.com). The chocolate comes from a local company--I'm not surprised it's already eaten! LOL
What great goodies you got,,what antique mall did you go too? You still gotta come up to Dickson and go to the other place I have been telling you about. I promise I won't let you spend to much,,lol.
Lucky finds! You have a great eye.
