Piet Worm

I had purchased some Piet Worm lithographs a while back. I was drawn to the primary colors and blocky illustration style of these--almost art deco in my eyes. I have a set of six in a series of children scenes. Finally, when a local store was having a framing sale, I took three in to have them finished (still expensive, man!). I just got them back and I'm so pleased with the results. I love the little extra strip of illustration she did on the bottom of each print. So sweet.

I have no idea where they will go, of course. No doubt, the perfect place will come to me! Let's see how long it takes me to get the final three framed.

PS Thank you all for your concerns regarding my mulch fire. I've been smoke free for 24 hours now! Yahoo.

These are adorable. You're just like me - I have things framed, have no place to put them, so they lean against a floorboard for awhile until I figure it out. Sometimes they get put away for awhile then switched with other art.

so glad you found where the smoke was coming from before you had worse damage.

The lithographs are adorable....love the bright colors. I like the frames you chose...it sets them off perfectly. You'll find just the spot for them.

I had never heard of the artist either but I like them, especially the little scenario going on at the bottom.

These prints are fantastic, I adore illustrations for children's books. I know just know wherever you choose to hang them it will be perfect.
