Giving Thanks -- No. 2

She was there with me when I took my first breath and I was there with her when she took her last. Mom was never alone during her last days. Either my brother Jim or I were by her side, and I know she was aware of our presence.

For that, I am so thankful.

I miss you mom, so very much.

Such a sweet photo of the hands. I was with my mom when she died. It's something I'll never forget and she's always with me....just as your mom will always be with you.

Big Hugs,
Janet

I love hands and this is just gorgeous. Of course she knew the two of you were there -- that I don't doubt.

Hugs--

Hi there, This picture made me cry... I miss my mama too--and she's been gone since 1991.

Love your pictures of your time with your girlfriends --even though you got called home. And --I got a speeding ticket back in 1969 when I was driving to my hometown in Virginia when my Daddy died also. Small world, huh?
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Sweetiepie,

You've been on my mind everyday. Life is so surreal in the days after, I aways feel. I think it's best, to just go with your feelings, and know that you are loved, so very much. I believe that our loved ones never truly leave us, and too, that they are aware of us in those last moments. I've experienced this a few times now, and always, I have a sense of that, and feel profoundly in a spirit that lives on.

Love to you,
Lena

I know it's so hard sweetie! You and your mom were both so blessed to have each other! The memories you made together will get you through these hard times. She is still with you, but you already knew that!
Big Hugs!
