I'm moving along on my newly found project. I did mom's page last night. I took one of her sweaters and copied it onto paper. Then I took a photo of her wearing the sweater and added it.
The front and back covers I made today. My usual style on cardboard with acrylics then distressed. But then I bee's waxed the curtain to the window. Loved how that turned out. You can't see it, but there is also a piece of mica attached for the window.
Finally, I'm becoming motivated with something!

Well done! Itchy fingers love motivation!
Your creative mojo has returned!! I love that idea of using a picture of the sweater and then your mom wearing it.
Nice pages!

Rosa

LOVE IT!!!
Beautiful! I love the house format! Your work is always so nice -- I still have some of your ATCs on my inspiration board!
I'd say your motivation has come back....I just LOVE what you've done with your journal so far!! I've always been an admirer of your art, you truly are an inspiration:-) xoxo
Hi Rosemary, I have journaled for years --but not the fancy ones they do now. I just write down my personal, deep feelings --things I cannot or won't put on my blog page.
It's fun to go back 10 or more years and see what I've written. It's funny how some 'little' things become so MAJOR at times in our lives.
Hugs,
Betsy
P.S. How's your Mom? And how is the college student doing???
