. . . a year makes.
This time last year, the kid and I were in rainy Paris. I can't believe a year has passed by us so quickly. Thank you Raphi for a wonderful trip throughout France. (I still have a post to do on Mont St. Michel!!) I miss that we're not traveling somewhere big this year, but I am also enjoying the chillin' happening down here on the south coast. The kid and I decided not to head to China with the hub, this time; but we will make it happen soon. I just wasn't quite "feeling" it. I always have to listen to my instincts. They normally know best.
Bella seems to be enjoying herself too. I have never been able to get such sweet pictures of her. She normally doesn't "photo well." But this is exactly how she looks. So precious.
It's an absolutely perfect day here at Riverside. No humidity, light breeze, warm--not hot. Does it get much better?
Only if we were out on the water. Until then, I'm enjoying being a landlubber for the time being and waiting for the hub to arrive back tonight.

I still remember your lovely Paris posts and enjoyed them so much, they are as close as I have gotten so far to Paris so I have visited them often!
I often look back on my own blog to see what I was up to "a year ago today"... it's fascinating, like a diary.
I remember your Paris trip and it sure doesn't seem like a year ago!
That photo of Bella just made me say awwhhh! She looks so sweet just sitting there. I love kitties!!!
Looks like Bella is helping with blogging! Lovely pictures -- great get-away.
I remember your lovely Paris photos too, and felt like you'd packed me in the suitcase and carried me along! Hey, lets do try that next time, ok?
I listen to that little voice too. I can't tell you how many times it has served me well.
Your "ro" reminds me of Rhoda Morgenstern on Mary Tyler Moore's show back in the good ol' days!
