Dorm Room

OMG. I wonder if my son's dorm room looks like this? I've taught him everything I know so in theory, it should, right? Ya think? DO YOU THINK IT LOOKS LIKE THIS? ROF!! Perhaps I should get him a pair of pink chinos. Do you think that may do the trick?

Uh, I don't think so. Especially since his room looked like this when he left.

I had to crack up when I saw this was an actual dorm room featured in Apartment Therapy, here. Yes, it's real. As if. If I had a daughter in college, I'd send her right over to meet this gent. Gee, I think even I could live here! Wow. I'm speechless.

The teenager had his last exam of the year today. He'll be home soon to destroy another clean room. But I'll welcome it with open arms. And him too, of course.

LOL! I never saw my son's dorm room again, after we helped him to move, but he's enjoying having an apartment now. He's even learning to cook, and enjoys that a lot. He's always been good to do his laundry....where did that come from? His room at home was such, that his dad hung one of those yellow caution signs on it at one time. Anyhow, he's loving his own space now....so, there's always hope!

It will be intersting and lovely both, to have him home. They become so used to having their independence when they leave home, and yet we still worry, everytime they walk out the door. Once a mom, always a mom.

What IS it with boys? They're like little hurricanes! Welcome home, though!

I was lucky that when my boys were going to university, they lived at home since the uni is only a 20 minute drive away:-) I have no doubt that you're looking forward to having your son living at home again...maybe he'll have learned to keep a cleaner room? NAWWWWW! lol xoxo

Buddy Budderson (of his own free will) finally cleaned up the pile he called his bedroom last weekend. I'd quite forgotten the wall colour, it was that bad.

If you hadn't stated that was a photo of your sons room when he left.
I'd think it was a snapshot of my sons room.
I asked my son recently if he'd been washing and changing his bedding regularly. He replied I don't have any. This was a puzzling to me, because I purchased him 3 sets.
Yup, a definite work in progress!
I too welcome both my messy boy's home with opened arms and a few cleaning supplies.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

Dorm rooms are just so very small!! It wouldn't take much time to clutter that room with all my treasures....lol

Hope you are doing well.
