Vertigo

Vertigo's James Stewart and Kim Novak, 1958

Today, I woke up with vertigo. Of all days, my birthday. To those who know me, I LOVE to celebrate my birthday. I begin the holiday season on November 13 and don't wind up until way after January 1st. Tiz the season, I say. But yuk, today I woke up with my infamous vertigo. I get it off and on and can normally get through my day. Today's was a tad stronger than normal, probably because of my cold last week (and because I had a dentist appointment today--ew). I've done as much as I am today and going to take one of my little blue pills (for motion sickness) and I will be passed out for the rest of the day. Joy.

Think I'm postponing my birthday until perhaps tomorrow. Good day and good nite. grin.

PS Thank you so much for all my birthday wishes! I'll be in full force soon.

Happy Birthday!

(I know. Scary online stalker stranger wishing you happy birthday. I have a google alert set up to tell me when anyone blogs about vertigo. Mostly because I'm hoping for answers, a cure, a miracle, something to help me with my nearly 12 mos of suffering with the spinning and dizzy and . . . well, you know.)

I love the pic btw. Made me smile. :)

Happy Birthday dear Rosa!! Oh dear, figures you would get a case of vertigo on your birthday:-( I sympathize with you because I suffer of vertigo also and every once in a while it acts up...I take Antivert for it when needed. I HATE having it, no fun at all. Hope you feel better tomorrow and can start celebrating that birthday of yours! xoxo

I hope your vertigo goes away -- with none of the complications James Stewart experienced! Did you know that movie was on AMC last night? That's ironic.

Well, I'm all for extending birthday celebrations -- the longer and more fun, the better.

Happiness to you!
