Uh Oh, She's Cooking Again

This time I reviewed the AGA manual before throwing a roast in the oven! And I was wrong, I didn't have it on broil at all when I made the muffins. Hmmmmm. Gonna have to start taking notes, I suppose.

Tonight, I made our first entire meal. I put in a pork tenderloin, seared with some great new spices, seasoned baked potatoes and peas. I can't tell you how good that crazy kitchen is smelling right now. I'm liking the little roasting pan that moves out with the door. I don't know how in the world we're going to fit a 20 pound turkey in there! And look how shiny and new the little oven is! Almost ran for my sunglasses when I was turning the taters! hehe.

I put everything in the warming drawer (giggle) to keep it warm until the hub gets home. Just smack me now.
Tomorrow, I begin focusing only on my family's arrival. Nothing else is going to enter my little noggin. The kitchen guys didn't show up today and I'll be damned if they'll be coming tomorrow (remember, my cut off date was tomorrow). I am totally over it and have handed the entire mess over to the hub. Dun dun dun. As much as I hate to admit it, it's still a man's world out there and sometimes I just have to give into it. Major grrrrrrr.

Love it! A warming drawer? I haven't heard of one of those since Grandma put food in her wood stove's warming closet. Sounds fantastic. I need to know more about those things.

A sweet pea told me that it is your birthday today. Sooo Happy Birthday. I'm glad to have found you through Pea. Have a wonderful day.

Blessings,
Mary

Aga cooking can be a bi challenging until you get used to it, in fact a couple of my friends with Agas actually do all their cooking on a regular stove!

Good Morning Rosa,
I am coming by way of Pea from Pea's Corner. I would like to wish a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy yourself. Pea is such a wonderful person. I am fairly new to the blogging world. I started in September but finally got going good last month. I still have lots to learn about all this stuff tho. I have my own blog called Karen's Korner. Feel free to stop by and visit any time you want. I love meeting and making new friends. That tenderloin and potatoes looks yummy. I love to cook also. This past weekend, my hubby cooked a Hobo Stew out on the grill. It was delicious. Well take care my friend and enjoy your day. May God Bless You.

Hugs,
Karen H.
