Sleeping In

This is the first day the kid and I were able to sleep in. You can see why I wanted to! Is this bed not gorgeous? I feel like a queen!

We are off to walk in the old part of Geneva. We ate dinner here. It is one of the hub's favorite places. They open at 7 p.m. and you wait in line to get a table. All they serve is steak and fries. Period. It has a butter sauce on the steak that is to die for. The inside has beautiful old French posters (quite large)that my sister-in-law would adore. Of course, I forgot my camera, but I hope to go by today and get some shots! After dinner, we walked through the old town and I eyed some wonderful shops to visit in my quest today.

Here are some flower arrangements from a little shop in Zurich. We bought the little rose bouquet in the center (orange and multi-colored dark red roses). So creative and lovely, I couldn't resist taking these pics. Enjoy.

Auvior. (German, I could get by on . . . French, I have no ear, eye or mouth for. RAPHI!! HELP!!) Hey, I heard that snicker. Shush.

PS Who has time for spell check. Forgive my errors!

That bed is AMAZING, definitely not your standard hotel accomodations! I am so happy you have a chance to catch us all up and see snippets of where you are. It's like traveling with you! Can't wait to hear and see more. Safe travels.
