Way back when, a life time ago it seems, we were in San Francisco. Remember that? ha. Well, yes, I'm continuing to post about it. And here's one of the highlights of the entire trip.
Val and I met up for afternoon tea at Crown & Crumpet. It was as delightful as it looks. Probably even more so, if you ask me.
C&C is a delight to walk in to, nonetheless sit and have tea. With a special friend? Even better. Sneak in under the radar, priceless.
Divine Marie Antoinette tea. Val chose this one, and what a choice it was. Almost melon flavored and pure delight.
Speaking of tea, who's anxiously awaiting the new Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland film with JD opening next weekend? I sure am! I'm feeling a little better these days. Cleansing the body is a good thing. I definitely feel the difference.xo

Such beautiful photos! That afternoon tea looks like quite an experience....and all those little yummies look delicious. I'm glad you're feeling better.
Nothing like tea with a good friend. Alice in Wonderland ... can't wait!

I can say, without hesitation, it was one of the best afternoons I've ever spent. Even though it was the first time we ever got to hang out, it was like we'd been friends forever and did stuff together all the time.
This is too weird. I just read an email from a friend who is going to Crown and Crumpet next week for her birthday! I'm sending her the link -- sounds divine!
I'm doing an Alice tag swap, did I tell you? I'm excited for the movie, too!
Loopy and I are hoping to squeeze Alice into our schedule this weekend! We have movie gift certificates - I hope they will be accepted for this show. Sometimes they block them out for big movies.
I can't wait to see Anne Hathaway as the White Queen!
