Bumping Along

I put my nose to the grindstone today trying to get things done for mom's celebration of life in DC on November 14. I actually got a lot done.

I think the evenings and nighttime are the hardest as I have more time to think about things. I'm trying to stay upbeat until it all comes crumbling down and hits me like a ton of bricks. So far, so good.

I hope the hub and kid understand my quietness and shortness of patience as my grieving process. Poor guys.

Again, hearing from so many of you has brought many smiles to my face. Thank you.

I'm thinking about you dear friend, and I'm glad that even though there will be difficult moments, you are finding comfort in the memories you will always have of your mom, and in the beauty that still surrounds you.

Your photographs are very pretty.

Take good care of yourself.

Love,
Lena

What beautiful flowers! Those colors together are so full of energy.

I hope that energy comes your way in many forms over the next few days. I know your family will understand your grieving. If they don't, you send 'em to me, and we'll talk!

Hugs...
