Ciao Bella

Introducing our newest addition, Bella. Here she is in her "travelling case." Oh yes, she is going to be "the" primadona, travelling to and fro between Nashville and her digs down in the deep South. ha. She is just so sweet. Just a bab-ee.

We left kinda late heading South last night so before we knew it, it was dark. Bella had a run in with Rootie in the car and bit the hell out of my fingers. Yowza. Talk about puncture wound pain. Of course, the worst is my middle finger on my right hand so typing is a tad painful, so this will be short. The two will be good friends in due time, but the little girl has been through a lot in the past two days. She was spayed before leaving the shelter. At such a tender age. It just broke my heart. Hey, she recovered faster than I did! hehe.

Anyhoo, I'm working on getting the two species used to one another. They will be best of buddies in time. Roo thinks she's a cat and it appears Bella thinks she'll be ruling the roost, and she probably will.

My niece made it in fine and we have been having so much fun with her. They are all out on the boat now, taking the mandatory "tour" of the local waterways. I've yet to go. Poor me. haha. Here, Roo dog is keeping an eye on the kids swimming. Awwwwwwwwww. Oh, I see the boat on their return journey! Gotta run!

Oh how cute Ms. Bella is. What a delightful addition to Riverside and to your home. She is just adorable. I am partial to orange kitties......oh yes, she does look like she will definately rule the roost. Roo dog will just have to put her in her place. I can't wait to come down and meet her.

Glad to hear Jaq made it down there okay. I am sure the kid and her are having the time of their lives. I wish I was there.
Take care and give my love to all.

I am loving your kitten Bella. What a great name! I think she needs to start wearing some fancy southern hats...

Precious kitty!

And poor Roo dog, still watching people swimming. I feel for Roo dog. I never learned to swim.
