Millie poked her tiny head out from the lovely woolen cone, laden with pearls, and she shivered. The sun was as bright as she had ever seen it. "Six more weeks of winter," she sighed. And then she tucked herself right back into her little cocoon and fell asleep.
Don't you wish you could hide under a pearl-laden wooly for another six weeks? You betchya.

We had snow today (my blog tomorrow), Rosa. SO---for sure we'll have 6 more weeks of winter!!!!
Yes, sometimes I'd love to get under a snuggly blankie and just cuddle up and stay warm for the next 6 weeks... Sounds good, eh????
Hugs,
Betsy
Gee, isn't the first day of spring in about 6 weeks? I think the groundhogs have something going with the season beings!!!! =)
I have nominated you for the Marie Antoinette Real Person, Real Award. Hope you'll stop by and pick it up!
Sweet dreams under the pearl-laden wolly!
Spring is already here in MY greenhouse! The stress is beginning to build :)
I can't wait for Spring to be here... There are already signs, though.
Cheers,
Rosa
Sounds like a lovely way to spend time for sure.
Looking forward to the spring thaw.
Hope you are doing well.
Hugs,
Winter felt like it went by so fast this year!! But I am excited about spring. :)
Well, that is a perfect place for a groundhog. I wish I had one in my size!!!
It hasn't really been winter here yet--I'm afraid one of these days we'll really be in for it. Cut groundhog. You're getting too cute for words...first the blog and now the mousie and painting on (your wall?) Love it. Good work.
What can I say? It's 80 degrees here today. Don't hate me cause I'm warm...
Oh heck, it's so very cold here - but we are snug as a bug in a rug 'cause someone very nice sent us tea to sip until spring comes!!!xoxo the fan
I'm really looking forward to spring......just not the hay fever that comes with it!
Sweet Wishes,
Sara
