Let it Snow . . .
We had about six inches of snow yesterday. It was truly a winter wonderland.
The kid and I woke up and went for a nice long walk as the snow fell. It was so exhilarating and beautiful.
Yesterday afternoon, the Trans Canadian Highway was closed due to avalanches! No one was hurt, so I was very excited. If people were here, they were stuck here for the night. Not too shabby.

Amazing photgraphs of your winter holiday. Your New years eve looked like lots of fun and the food very yummy!
This is just a wonderful way to experience snow. No worries and just enjoy the beauty.
Love your pictures.
Hugs,
Connie
We had plenty of rain instead in the west coast, 150mm in some places.

Dang,,bring some of that snow back her to Tenn.,,just rain here for the next few days,,oh boy! I know that walk was delightful and the kid will always remember it. Keep having fun Rosie! Miss You!
you are sooooooooo lucky! I love snow! so calm and beautiful! happy new year!!!!
How completely gorgeous and enchanting!
Here in the midwest, it's in the upper 40's, and feels more like April than January! Bizarre weather, that's for sure! The snow DOES look beautiful, tho!
Beautiful photos!!
Some of your photos are really great. Most of very good. It must really be breathtaking to actually be there. Wish I was there! Say hi to everyone.
Your pictures are all mind blowing!!! I'd love to be there...
Thanks for reminding a Norwegian how a real winter should be. Here we have snow only in the Mountains, with closed roads due to heavy wind.
Normally, we heritage your weather conditions a week or two after. But, what's normal this winter?
Once again, thanks for sharing Winter Wonder Land
Looks beautiful. Great pics.
It's a winter wonderland! Thanks for letting us see too!
what a gorgeous winter scene although I must admit it always looks Cooooolddd! There is something so pure about the glistening white. (as long as you don't get stuck in it of course)
You are the travelin' family that's for sure...I always look forward to your blogpostcards.
Soon I will get back in the studio and you will get that altered tin. :)
Wishing you well dear Rosa and a wonderful time!
Love,
Lisa
XOXO
So that's where all our snow went!!! lol I'm just catching up with everybody and oh Rosa, what beautiful pictures you've posted the last couple of days!! I've never been to Lake Louise but now I want to go! A lot of people don't like snow but you have to admit, it sure makes for pretty scenery!!! And the food...never mind the ski slopes, just leave me at the table!! lol Sounds like you're all having a wonderful time...no snow here at all these days. What little sprinkle we got over the weekend last week is now all gone, in fact it was raining today. Weird for NORTHERN Ontario!!! Much love xoxo
Ro, the pics are beautiful. Almost makes me want to go there...maybe during the summer.
