I tell you something, I have been hit with jetlag like I've never been hit before. Goes to show you what age does! That and running around Europe for ten days, non-stop -- crazy!
I've finally got the hub to download my pics from his computer to mine from our trip. Along with mine, looks like I'm getting everything else he had . . . about 1,700 pics. I really didn't want his, after cleaning through all my pics off last month, so I stopped the download and am going through and picking only mine. Geesh! I apologize for not posting on Amsterdam, Bremen and Zurich; but all the pics have been on his computer. Hopefully soon, when I get some energy, I will start a post on Amsterdam and move on from there. I had such a marvelous time in each city, I can't wait to show you more.
This morning, I awoke to sunshine; but by the time I dressed and took my coffee to the front porch, the clouds had rolled in. All the animules followed me out and there was a bustle of crows in the woods across the street. They would all be clapping about and then, all of a sudden, they'd go deathly quiet and then fly to another spot. It was kind of eerie. I finally took the time to start changing the scenery on the front porch with some mums. The mum colors are gorgeous this year; and I just picked one of each!
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting up with our fellow blogger Beth and her mom, Lottie, at a stamp show here in Nashville. It was so much fun meeting both of them after talking to them via emails and exchanging ATCs through the Yahoo ATC group. What a hoot! Beth was sweet enough to tell me about the show and asked me to meet them there. I am normally clueless as to what is going on around this town as I hardly ever pick up the newspaper. I've cut the delivery down to the weekends and rarely even read it then. Oy! Somehow, I beat them there and walked around until they arrived. I have to admit, I haven't done a lot of stamping media. But, of course, the
show had other items too. Here is one of my favorite booths, Paula Best's. Paula was working on a fiber charm bracelet. (I adore her hair! Wish I were gutsy enough to do that!!) I would have loved to purchase one of her kits, but I didn't need to spend that much on the heels of a big trip. They were absolutely gorgeous though. Her stamps were lovely too. I didn't buy any; I have enough projects started in other media; I don't need to spread myself too thin! But, perhaps one day, I will look into her stuff. It is quite unique. I did buy some supplies for quilling and some nice inks and watercolors. The show had an ATC contest and Lottie won third place! Several of these are Beth's and Lottie's; and the one that won is second to the bottom row on the right--the little girl with the faery and moon. Isn't it sweet? No wonder she won! I'm totally in awe of these two's work. Congrats Lottie!! You deserved the win!
I can't wait to meet up with them again soon. If I can just get over this jet lag!! Zzzzzzz.

What a fun day! I haven't had any real life meetings with bloggers, but I've talked to several on the phone. It's wonderful to connect a voice with the blog.
Congrats to to Lottie and all the other work is very nice too!
Love the porch and your decorations...it's all so lovely. My goodness, what a porch! Mine is a little one, just big enough for a couple of wicker chairs and a table. I bought my cornstalks and all, but still have to decorate. You're way ahead of me and I don't have jet lag to hold me back. Jeepers!
Hope you feel rested soon!
Meeting with other bloggers is something really great!
I love your flag and the picture of the front porch; so nice!...
I know what you mean with the jet lag it took ma almost a week to get normal whenwe got back from the UK. But it was worth it wasn't it lol

Your first photo of all the birds (starlings?) is terrific.
I hate jetlag. And after racing around Europe, no wonder you're exhausted! Glad you had a fun day with your friends. Lovely photos.
