Welcome Home

The hub is freshly home from Asia, so I thought I'd treat everyone to a good, hearty breakfast. I went to the farmers' market and found some fresh bread. I had never heard of "Salt-Rising" bread, you? They said this was the bread to get for French toast. Hmmm.

Well, the boys liked it; but I think it was a tad savory and dense for French toast. I think it would be much better for sandwiches or say croutons. Live and learn.

That bread is a new one on me...but French toast is one of my all-time favorites. Yum!!!

Nope, can't say I've ever heard of that bread either! I adore French toast and would make it for breakfast every morning if I let myself! lol Glad to hear the hubs is home safe and sound:-) xoxo
