Soooo glad my hotel had cable. I completely agree about the train. The dress was generally fantastic but maybe a tad bridal. Otherwise it was just lovely. And the lemongrass suit? Sublime. I enjoyed every single bit of it.Saucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16959141177904095053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10714961.post-91473534613707106282009-01-26T12:40:00.000-06:002009-01-26T12:40:00.000-06:00This is a great post and I agree on all fronts. Yeah, she needed that wedding doo-dad that hikes it up! I'm smiling. As for the inaugural outfit, I thought she looked beautiful - and while it was more of a late afternoon dress, if ever there was an occasion to dress up, it's when your husband is being sworn in as president! And she looked gorgeous in both outfits. The Obamas are a wonderful family - it's a wonderful thing to observe their close relationship. xoparis parfaithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05457437124988976587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10714961.post-56452121735219110962009-01-24T15:54:00.000-06:002009-01-24T15:54:00.000-06:00Loved your post - loved the moment, the joy of the...Loved your post - loved the moment, the joy of the day, the dress, the shoes, the pretty bows on the girls' coats...<BR/>never thought about the train on the dress but she did look beautiful, she is beautiful, nice to have glamour and a good looking chap in the White House.. so glad that Americans voted in the right person for the job...xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02001970521992371848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10714961.post-48253603383094257922009-01-24T14:12:00.000-06:002009-01-24T14:12:00.000-06:00I didn't love the ball gown but I do love them as ...I didn't love the ball gown but I do love them as a couple! Michelle Obama's style is very nice, but then, most first ladies are very well fashioned.Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11438434258356677679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10714961.post-2563018241087237782009-01-23T21:06:00.000-06:002009-01-23T21:06:00.000-06:00I loved the "wedding dress"! I DID not like the yellow dress....but thought that Michelle looked so "Jackie Kennedy" which is a style I love! I love just about everything the First Lady wears. I didn't like that black and red dress she wore when he accepted the nomination. I thought it made her look fat.
